Dyson V7 Batteries

Replacement batteries for the Dyson V7 cordless range, model code SV11. Every V7 variant, including Motorhead, Animal, Absolute, Trigger, Origin and Total Clean, uses the same click-in pack, so all five of our listings fit any V7. Options are a battery on its own, a battery with a pre and post filter, or a battery and charger set with filters for people who have lost the original plug.

Check the label on the underside of the vacuum for SV11 before ordering. The V6 and V8 use different packs. These are compatible batteries, not Dyson originals. Ships from Sydney, easy change-of-mind returns.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if my Dyson is a V7?

Look at the sticker on the underside of the main body, near the battery. Dyson V7 machines carry the code SV11. The V6 and V8 carry different codes and take different batteries, which are in our Dyson V6 and Dyson collections. If you see SV11 with any name such as Motorhead, Animal or Trigger, the batteries here fit.

How do I replace the battery on a Dyson V7?

Undo the two screws with a Phillips screwdriver, one under the handle and one at the back of the battery, slide the old pack out and click the new one in. Tighten the screws, then charge the new battery fully before first use. It takes about five minutes with no special tools.

How long will a compatible V7 battery run?

Our compatible packs are rated at 21.6V with capacity equal to or higher than the original, so expect a similar runtime to a new Dyson battery, around 30 minutes on normal power and much less on Max mode. Runtime drops on all lithium packs as they age, usually after two to three years of daily use.
