How do I find the model number of my remote?

Look on the back of the remote or inside the battery compartment for a code such as AA59-00602A or ARC452A4. If the remote is lost, check the sticker on the back of the TV or on the indoor air conditioner unit for the appliance model, then search that model on our site to find a listed remote.

Do compatible remotes need to be programmed?

Most TV and air conditioner remotes here are pre-coded for the listed models and work as soon as batteries go in. Some voice remotes for Sony and LG need a short pairing step, which is in the listing. Garage and car remotes always need pairing to the receiver, so read those instructions carefully.

What if my brand or model is not listed?

Email support@officecatch.com.au with a photo of your old remote or the appliance model number and we will check whether a compatible remote covers it. Many manufacturers reuse the same remote across dozens of models, so a match is likely even if your exact TV or air conditioner model is not in the title.
