Ryobi Batteries & Chargers

Compatible batteries, chargers and adapters for Ryobi cordless tools. For the One+ 18V platform there is a 10.0Ah P108 lithium pack, a P117 charger and a dual-port rapid charger. For 36V and 40V garden tools we have 7.0Ah BPL3626 and BPL3640 packs, a 4.0Ah BPL3640D2, matching chargers and a battery plus charger combo. Adapters let you run a Ryobi 18V battery on a Dyson V6, V7 or V8 vacuum, or a Makita 18V battery on Ryobi tools.

Frequently asked questions

Will a compatible P108 battery work with all Ryobi One+ tools?

Yes. Every One+ tool since 1996 shares the same 18V slide-on connection, so the P108 style lithium pack fits older blue tools and current green ones. Older Ni-Cd chargers may not charge lithium packs, so use the P117 or a rapid charger from this collection if your charger predates lithium.

Is Ryobi 36V the same as 40V?

Yes, they are the same battery platform. Ryobi labels it 36V in Australia and 40V in North America, and the packs and chargers are interchangeable. Part numbers BPL3626 and BPL3640 both fit any Ryobi 36V mower, blower or line trimmer. Our 36V/40V listings cover both labels.

Can I use a Ryobi battery on my Dyson vacuum?

With the right adapter, yes. The adapter clips onto a Ryobi 18V pack and slots into the battery position of a Dyson V6, V7 or V8, giving longer runtime than the original pack. The vacuum becomes heavier and the adapter is only for those three models, as later Dysons use a different mount.
